This week has been miles and miles long and tomorrow being Thursday is no consolation given the endlessness of the previous four days and today I just realized that it a long weekend coming up...what to do...
There is no curse in having the hours in the day seem way longer than they are. Maybe I was accomplishing my tasks at such a rate that time itself seemed to slow down. Finding a warm, flat rock to catnap on for thirty or so minutes seemed at least twice as long.
It is a strange phenomenon, indeed that 8 hours can go by in a flash just as easily as it may seem to go on for near eternity. I guess the weather and the company can be determiners. Who knows?
I do hope the feeling continues until Tuesday. Having the long weekend seem like a long weekend will be welcome.
I'm tossing a trip to the mainland around OR tramp into the woods and sleep in a tent for a couple of days. I was hoping my renewed passport would be ready so I could hop on the "MV Coho" and maybe head up to Vancouver via Port Angeles, Port Townsend and Seattle...but I guess that will wait for another time...Canada has always been just fine for me.
If time is going to drag on and on there is no other country I would like it to happen than here.
Peace,
Allan
